![]() I think I let it run overnight (at least 10 hours) and it was the same way in the morning. Unfortunately I wasn't thinking and didn't capture the output, but the first time I ran it the process got past initializing, then the progress "bar" went about 1/3 of the way across the screen and stopped and hung. Sfc /scannow finishes and reports no errors.Įven though the dism piece failed, I ran the powershell scripta couple of times. I've tried this multiple times over a couple of days with the same exact result. The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log Wait a few minutes and try running the command again.
